A brochure here is a multi-panel folded piece worked from a flat A4 or A3 sheet: six panels from a tri fold or Z fold, eight from a roll fold, gate fold or double parallel fold. 157 gsm art paper is the default; 128 gsm keeps weight down for mailing, and 200 gsm to 250 gsm art card gives a cover-weight feel but must be creased before folding. Matt lamination is the usual choice because it hides finger marks over repeated handling, with gloss preferred for photography-led work; spot UV and hot foil are normally kept to the front panel and off the fold lines. Brochures carry product ranges, property launches, travel packages and capability statements. The mistake customers make is laying out panels in reading order without checking the fold sequence, so the panel order and the shorter in-turning panel end up in the wrong place.
