Kraft Mailer Box

Printed mailer boxes are die-cut from corrugated board: E flute for a slim carton with a smooth print face, B flute where the box has to survive courier handling, and BE double wall for heavier contents. Stock is natural kraft or white-top kraft. Print goes on the outside face by default; inside printing is a second pass and is quoted as such. Colour on brown kraft reads muted, because CMYK sinks into the unbleached liner, so blues go grey and bright reds turn brick. Choose white-top kraft where colour has to be accurate, or design in one or two spot colours that work with the board tone. Work to our dieline, keep artwork on its own layer, allow 3 mm bleed past every cut line, and leave the glue flap free of ink and coating. Matt or gloss varnish is available; lamination limits recyclability.
