Standard Business Card

Our standard business card trims to 90 x 54 mm, the size most commonly carried in Singapore and Malaysia. Stock runs from 260 gsm art card for everyday use up to 300, 350 and 400 gsm where a firmer card is wanted, with uncoated woodfree in 300 gsm and 350 gsm when the surface has to take a pen. Matt or gloss lamination on both sides adds durability and stops corner scuffing; soft-touch lamination, spot UV, hot foil and embossing are all applied after lamination, not instead of it. Cards are used for meetings, trade shows, counter displays and as appointment cards when the reverse is left plain. The mistake customers make most often is placing logos, text or a border too close to the trim. Artwork needs 3 mm bleed on all four sides and critical elements kept at least 4 mm inside the trim, otherwise normal trimming tolerance leaves visibly uneven margins.
